Why is it 1974? 1) Bomber Harris (Head) didn't start until 1973. 2) MG Smith (music) and Jack Dawe both appear on the picture. When MG Smith started, Jack Dawe stayed on for a term... a sort-of hand-over period. 3) Mr Long (latin) started in 1974. Ergo – 1974.  from Paul Leedham
